Our Story

With this in mind, what better place to launch this exciting concept onto the public then at The Eat Local Thursday Movement. Consequently, trading at markets, has allowed him to form strong relationships with local growers and producers of quality products. In turn that has built up the menu to what it is today where 80% of our ingredients are sourced locally.

In the beginning-
After completing his apprenticeship, Jay saw a gap in the market of private catering as the majority of food available was cooked off site and reheated resulting in a low quality, tasteless products. Similarly to the food offered at major public events along with majority being an unhealthy option, usually deep fried and heavily processed.

What makes Wagga's Woodfired Wagon Different?

The use of fresh ingredients, majority of the meats are cooked in our oven and use smaller, local producers meaning food is less processed. We can tell you exactly where the food came from and how it was produced!

Wagga's Woodfired Wagon is at the forefront of bringing restaurant quality 'street food' to the Riverina and NSW/ACT.
